Remembering Cyclist Brad Dean, who belongs to ‘Just Giver 4PD Cycling Club‘, Vancouver wedding photographer, artist Wayne Lam has been honored to be photographed Brad’s wedding. While on a trip in Hong Kong visiting family and friends in Nov, 2016; I kept updating news in Vancouver. When cyclist got into a fatal accident in Richmond, Brad’s name rings the bell since I have been seeing him much involvement with cycling on his Facebook page. While digging more information, the saddest became reality. I remember Brad as a gentle and easy going person; a type of a person who makes friends everywhere meanwhile; I tried to hold back my tears in this little room oversea.
A few months back, Adele the wife of Brad Dean, asking me to photograph her maternity; it is an honor. The photo session taken place at a popular cyclist stop location at Iona Beach, Richmond, BC. The day was warm and sunny just for Brad; a small group of friends arriving to the panic table where Adel brought in cake for the evening. It is so wonderful to see all the loves from friends who came out for the portrait session. A day to celebrate and remember Brad and yet a new life beginning. I can see Dean’s is laughing hard when friends pretending riding bike like Brad; it was a best moments and this portrait sum it up the love of his passion and friendships to the people around him. I was lucky to meet and getting to know Brad, a wonderful person; there are many people comes in our path, but few stands out with kindness and a gentleman like Brad.
