Lantern Festival landed to Vancouver from Asia, it was my first time at the 2014 Vancouver Lantern Festival at Spanish Banks. The night was chill but it didn’t stop the large crowds, it was very fun to see everyone feeling like a little kids and having a great time. It reminded me my childhood in Hong Kong. Few people knew you are suppose to write your wishes on the lantern before it send off into the sky. I was disappointed when there was no one in charge, I was hoping everyone will release the lanterns at the same time like Taiwan lantern festival, I hope it will be better run next year as I’m sure many people would like to get involves once they knew about Vancouver Lantern Festival.
